| Connector | Type | Common Use | Special Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Futaba-3P | 3-pin Futaba style | Futaba RC receivers and compatible systems | ⚠️ Do NOT pull wires — grip connector body only |
| SYP | 2-pin SYP | General RC power connections | Grip connector body when plugging/unplugging |
| XH-4P | 4-pin JST XH balance | Balance charging port (3S) | Used with 3S balance charger |
| XR-3P | 3-pin XR style | RC receiver power input | Verify polarity before connecting |
Compatible Applications
- RC drone / UAV receiver systems (TX RX)
- Futaba-compatible RC receivers
- RC aircraft and fixed-wing receivers
- RC car and boat receiver packs
- Other equipment requiring 11.1V 3S Li-Po battery
Package Contents
- 1× FMA ACE 11.1V 2400mAh Li-Po Battery Pack
- Connectors: Futaba-3P, SYP, XH-4P, XR-3P
How to Install
- Power off your RC receiver / transmitter system completely before replacing the battery.
- Open the battery compartment and remove the old battery pack.
- Insert the new FMA ACE battery into the compartment, aligning it with the housing guides.
- Select the appropriate connector for your receiver (Futaba-3P / SYP / XH-4P / XR-3P) and connect to the receiver’s battery port. Always grip the connector body — never pull the wires.
- Close the battery compartment and power on the system to verify normal operation.
- Charge via the XH-4P balance port using a Li-Po balance charger set to 3S / 11.1V (max 12.6V). Always use balance charging mode.
- For long-term storage, charge to storage voltage (~11.4V / 3.8V per cell) before storing.
Installation Cautions
- ⚠️ Futaba-3P Connector — Critical Warning: The Futaba-3P connector has internal solder joints that are susceptible to wire pull damage. Always grip the Futaba-3P connector body firmly when plugging or unplugging — NEVER pull on the wires. Pulling the wires will cause the internal solder joint to detach from the battery terminal, resulting in permanent loss of connection.
- ⚠️ SYP Connector — Handle with Care: Same precaution applies — always grip the connector body, never the wires. Internal solder joints can detach if wires are pulled.
- ⚠️ Align all connectors correctly before inserting. Do not force any connector — incorrect orientation may damage the pins or the receiver port.
- ⚠️ Ensure the battery fits snugly in the compartment without bending or compressing the wires. Pinched wires can cause short circuits.
- ⚠️ Do not route wires across sharp edges inside the battery compartment.
- ⚠️ If any connector feels loose or the system shows no power after installation, inspect the connector and internal solder joints before use. Contact us if a joint has detached.
Important Cautions
- ⚠️ No PCM protection inside. Always use with a device or charger that provides overcharge and over-discharge protection.
- ⚠️ Use only a Li-Po balance charger set to 3S (12.6V max). Never use Ni-MH or unregulated chargers.
- ⚠️ Never discharge below 9.0V (3.0V per cell). Deep discharge will permanently damage the battery.
- ⚠️ Do not short-circuit, puncture, crush, bend, or expose to fire.
- ⚠️ Do not charge a swollen or damaged battery. Discontinue use immediately if abnormalities are detected.
- ⚠️ Charge in a fireproof LiPo safe bag. Never leave charging unattended.
- ⚠️ Keep out of reach of children.
Safety Information
- Charging: Use a 3S Li-Po balance charger (12.6V max). Charge in a fireproof container. Never overcharge.
- Storage: Store at 3.8V per cell (~11.4V total) in a cool, dry place (15–25°C). Avoid full charge for long-term storage.
- Operation: Do not short-circuit, puncture, crush, or disassemble. Avoid exposure to water or moisture.
- Temperature: Charge and discharge within 0°C–45°C. Do not charge below 0°C.
- Disposal: Discharge to safe voltage, then dispose of according to local lithium battery regulations. Do not incinerate.
- Inspection: Inspect before each use. Do not use if swollen, damaged, or leaking.
