Choosing the Right Chemistry

Ni-Cd (Nickel-Cadmium) — 600mAh / 900mAh: Lighter weight, lower cost, excellent performance in extreme temperatures, and high discharge rate. Ideal for competitive racing where weight and burst power matter. Note: Ni-Cd batteries contain cadmium and must be recycled properly.

Ni-MH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) — 1200mAh / 1500mAh / 2000mAh: Higher capacity, no memory effect, more environmentally friendly. Preferred for longer runtime and general hobby use. Recommended for most users.
